We are a company that is dedicated to servicing fire department ground ladders.  Our president, Steve Speer, has over thirty years experience as a firefighter.  He is a retired lieutenant from the Ridge Road Fire District, a past chief of the Hilton Fire Department and served as a member of the Board of Fire Commissioners for the Hilton-Parma Fire District for fifteen years.  Steve is also presently serving as a member of the Ground Ladder Testing Committee of the N.F.P.A.  We are a ladder safety and testing company with firefighting experience.  To date, we have tested more than 21,900 ladders.

Our advantage over other ladder testing companies is that we provide full service for ground ladders to make them N.F.P.A. compliant including testing, inspection, affixing labels and heat sensors, installing proper roof hooks and more.  We will review all ladders within the department prior to testing in order to develop a plan to both bring the ladders into N.F.P.A. compliance and also to assist with any budgetary considerations.

MISSION STATEMENT

Fire Service Safety Testing, Inc. provides professional ground ladder testing, service and minor repairs to fire departments in the New York State area.  We travel to your firehouse, inspect and test each ladder pursuant to the NFPA Standards.  A written report is mailed to your chief for your files.
